Birgitta

After working in hotel technology for a few years and running her own sportswear and yoga brand, Birgitta jumped into the Founderz × Microsoft AI Skills for Women program and loved its learn-anytime format and supportive community. It helped her prototype “Kinetic Verve,” an AI-powered, judgment-free yoga-coaching app, and left her excited about where AI can take her career.

Jiayao

A master’s student at the University of Barcelona working at the crossroads of mental health, mixed reality and inclusivity. Jiayao calls the course her “ticket to the future.” It boosted her confidence to build inclusive, real-life AI tools that empower people and reinforced her belief that women belong at every tech table.

Irene

Caracas-born Irene, who grew up in California and New York, made the leap from working with tech to building with it after spotting the program’s ad during Women’s History Month. She’s now writing code and pitching SOMOS an AI, multilingual, real-time news tracker for Latin America and says the program ignited the motivation she needed to turn her idea into a business.
