Microsoft Spotlights Founderz as a Global Leader in AI Education

This week, Founderz was featured on Microsoft’s official blog in an article that showcases our journey as a startup helping bridge the AI skills gap around the world.

The piece, written by Cyril Belikoff, Vice President of Commercial Cloud and AI at Microsoft, highlights how we’ve gone from an initial idea to training more than 100,000 people globally in AI—thanks to a flexible, hands-on, online learning model.

Microsoft: A Turning Point for Founderz

Back in 2023, we were looking for a partner to help us scale. We sent emails to three major tech companies. Only one replied—Microsoft. Through the Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub, we received Azure credits, expert guidance, and the tech infrastructure we needed to enhance our learning experience with AI.

Being featured on Microsoft’s website is a major recognition of the work we’ve been doing at Founderz. Microsoft highlights our unique educational approach, our use of AI-powered virtual assistants, the high production quality of our content, and the accessibility of our courses in multiple languages.

They also celebrate our rapid growth and our role today as a Microsoft Training Services Partner, which allows us to provide learning experiences fully centered around Microsoft technologies.

For us, having our story shared on Microsoft’s official blog is proof that hard work—when driven by purpose—can have a global impact.

Free AI Training for Everyone

The article also highlights our free learning initiatives, a key part of our mission to make AI education accessible to more people. In collaboration with Microsoft, we launched the free course promoted with a 500-square-meter banner in central Madrid that read, “Learning AI costs nothing. Missing out on it might cost you a lot”.

In March, we also launched AI Skills 4 Women, a free AI education initiative for women across Europe and the Middle East. With only 22% of AI professionals being women, this program aims to shift that reality by offering accessible, flexible training for all experience levels—no tech background required.

We had also previously collaborated on the creation of AI Skills 4 All, a free program designed to teach AI skills to citizens across more than ten European countries, including Spain. Students in the program learn how to use Copilot and other generative AI tools, while also exploring how AI can enhance safety and efficiency in the workplace.

What’s Next: Making AI Education Truly Inclusive

Being recognized by Microsoft motivates us to keep going—but it also reminds us that there’s still so much more to do. AI is already reshaping the workforce, and at Founderz, we’re committed to ensuring that everyone who wants to learn can do so—without barriers.

Our mission is to keep building accessible, up-to-date programs that help people improve their lives and careers.

Because AI shouldn’t be for a select few. With the right training, it should be for everyone.
