AI prompt generator for pharmacies
Describe what your pharmacy needs and get a prompt with structure, approved information and health boundaries for notices, FAQs, signage, procedures or review replies. It gives no clinical advice: it prepares drafts the pharmacist reviews.
How to use the AI prompt generator for pharmacies, step by step
To create your prompt, follow these steps. Only the first one is required: anything you skip stays on Auto.
- Start with the essentials. Pick an example (blood pressure service, blister pack FAQ, review reply, sunscreen range, cold chain receiving or educational newsletter) or describe what your pharmacy needs without patient details. Then choose what you want to prepare or leave it on Auto so it works it out from your text, and, if you like, have the AI ask you questions before it starts.
- Describe the pharmacy and audience. The area or category, who it’s for (general customers, older people, carers, the pharmacy team, the owner or an online audience) and the channel, from the counter to the window poster or a public review reply. In the advanced settings you set the information available (patient leaflet, approved manufacturer material, aggregated sales or stock data or an internal procedure) and the country and its rules.
- Choose format and tone. Tables, ready-to-review text, a checklist, one page or several versions, in a warm and professional, plain language, educational, operational or very concise tone. In the advanced settings you choose the level of detail.
- Set limits and review. The health boundary (general information only, no medicines or doses, stronger referral or no health data) and how to handle claims and promotions. In the advanced settings you choose who reviews it, add extra checks such as a source table or anonymization and pick the answer language.
- Generate and copy your prompt. Click “Generate prompt”, enter your email to see the whole prompt and copy it.
Ten pharmacy jobs. The “What do you want to prepare?” selector covers service announcement, information FAQ, educational content plan, internal procedure, product mix analysis, review reply, opt-in email or text, pharmacy signage, training script and permitted promotions calendar. In “Area or category” you pick pharmacy services, skincare, nutrition and supplements, baby and maternity, orthopedics, seasonal health or operations and stock.
Every prompt asks the assistant to open with a note that the text is a draft for the responsible pharmacist to review and doesn’t replace pharmacist or medical advice: the tool prepares text and information, it doesn’t replace the pharmacist.
Example: a ChatGPT prompt to announce a blood pressure check service
With the generator’s “Blood pressure service” example, the prompt starts like this. It’s an excerpt: the button copies the full prompt.
ROLE Act as the communications and operations lead of a community pharmacy, working under the supervision of the responsible pharmacist: you write, organize and analyze with approved information. You do not give health advice: everything you produce is a draft that the responsible pharmacist reviews and approves before it is used. You announce professional pharmacy services (blood pressure checks, compliance aids, screening or follow-up) by explaining what they are, who they may interest and how to use them, without turning them into clinical advice. GOAL Write the service announcement so the public understands what it includes, when and how to request it, and when to see the pharmacist or the doctor. CONTEXT Context provided by the user (treat it as your main source): [START OF BRIEF] Independent community pharmacy in a mid-sized town. From next month we offer blood pressure checks on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am to 1 pm, no appointment needed, with the reading recorded on a card the customer keeps. The price is still to be decided. We need the text for the window poster and a notice for the website, without giving individual advice. [END OF BRIEF] ... OUTPUT FORMAT Deliver: a headline under 10 words, main text of 60 to 120 words, a practical details block (What, When, How to request it, Price), the referral line and the call to action; then a 160-character version for the counter or a message. ...
The full prompt adds the professional pharmacy services category, the constraints (no diagnosis, doses or unapproved claims, health advertising rules to verify and no health data), seven working steps with the referral line, the window poster format in three versions and a final check before it answers.
The result: the assistant delivers a poster that reads from two meters and a website notice with days and times, marks the price [to be confirmed] and says when to speak to the pharmacist or doctor, without giving individual advice.
Tips for using AI in a pharmacy: patient safety and compliance
6 quick tips
- Work from approved, up-to-date information: the patient leaflet or product information, approved manufacturer material or the current internal procedure. Say which one in “Information available” so the assistant doesn’t fill gaps with its own drug information.
- Keep prescriptions, treatments and patient details out of the assistant; in the US, health information held by pharmacies is protected under HIPAA.
- In “Claims and promotions” choose “Approved claims only” or “Flag claims to validate” so the text doesn’t promise health results.
- For a product mix analysis, supply aggregated stock data and ask for an action and responsibility table instead of long prose.
- Assign the review to the responsible pharmacist before you publish a sign, a post or a public reply to a review: a human check is the simplest way of reducing the risk of human error and AI error alike.
- Edit the result before you use it and tailor the tone to your customers; the prompt gives you a strong first version, not a final one.
Use cases: automate time-consuming writing and enhance patient communication
- Counter An FAQ with referrals to the pharmacist, a team training script and step-by-step procedures.
- Communication Service notices, signage, email or SMS with consent and an educational content plan for the website or Instagram.
- Operations A product mix analysis from aggregated data, a comprehensive summary of an internal procedure and a permitted promotions calendar for skincare or seasonal health.
- Reputation Short, professional replies to public reviews, with no customer data.
What makes a good pharmaceutical AI prompt
A good pharmacy prompt gives the AI a role, a specific task, the context of the pharmacy, the approved material it can use, the constraints and the output format. The health boundary matters most here: the text informs, it doesn’t advise a specific person or replace the pharmacist. The generator sets that with controls that require approved information only, say when to refer to a healthcare professional and ask for a check of the health, pharmaceutical, advertising and privacy rules that apply.

Why I built these generators
Frequently asked questions
Is the AI prompt generator for pharmacies free?
Yes, it’s free. Before it asks for anything, it shows you a preview with the first sections of the prompt. To see the whole prompt and copy it, enter your email and accept the Privacy Policy; receiving communications from Founderz is optional.
It only asks once per visit: any prompts you generate after that are shown in full.
Can AI handle a prescription, dosage or drug interactions question?
No. The prompt rules out diagnosing, prescribing, adjusting dosages or replacing pharmacist advice, so questions about a prescription or possible drug interactions go to the pharmacist and other healthcare providers. In “Health boundary” you can also ask it not to mention medications or dosages, or to refer clinical questions to the pharmacist.
What happens to the data I type?
The generator doesn’t use a language model: it combines your answers with Founderz templates in your browser. It only sends your email to Founderz when you ask to see the prompt, and usage statistics record the options you chose, never your description or the generated prompt.
Which AI tool does it work with, and can I integrate it?
Any text assistant, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Claude and Perplexity. The prompt is plain text with clear sections (role, goal, context, constraints, steps, format and checks), so you can paste it into any assistant or integrate it into an approved workflow; you then verify the answer before use.
Can I write the text in Spanish for bilingual customers?
Yes. In the advanced settings, “Answer language” includes Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Latin America) and a bilingual English and Spanish option. If you leave it on Auto, the AI answers in the language you write the context in.
