How to use the AI prompt generator for project managers

• Put the facts you already have in the brief (project name, approved dates, team, budget, any blocker) and say what’s missing, because the prompt tells the AI to flag gaps instead of filling them.
• Base the brief on your actual project: meeting notes or aggregated progress data give better answers than a generic description.
• The output language defaults to English (US); switch to English (UK) if your sponsor writes British English.
• Use the essential level for a quick agenda or email, and save professional or specialist for steering committees, scope changes or regulated projects.
• Change one field at a time between versions so you can see which setting improves the answer, then reuse that setup with your colleagues.
• Ask for bullet points or a table when the answer goes into a project update, and end with the next steps and their owners. If the first answer misses, refine it with a follow-up prompt instead of starting again.
