Copywriting prompt generator
Tell us what you sell and who it is for, and get a professional prompt for landing pages, emails, ads and product pages. Only step 1 is required: everything else stays on Auto.
How to use the copywriting prompt generator step by step
To build a copywriting prompt, follow these steps. Only the first one is required: anything you skip stays on Auto.
- Start with the essentials. Pick an example (Landing page, Email, Ad, Product page, LinkedIn or Sales email) or write what you sell, who it is for, the benefit and the proof you have. Then choose the piece: landing page, nurture email, paid social ad, product page, LinkedIn post and six more.
- Define the reader and the message. The buyer stage (from discovery to win-back), the reader and the proof available. Advanced settings add the persuasive structure and the CTA.
- Choose tone and format. Tone, length and “Versions and delivery”: one polished version, 3 different angles, A/B variants, outline first or annotated copy. “Channel and SEO” adds a title and meta description, or an adaptation for LinkedIn, email or Google Ads.
- Set material and quality. The material you will attach (brand guide, customer reviews or copy that worked) and extra checks such as flagging claims for legal review. Advanced settings hold the response language and anything the AI must respect.
- Generate and copy your prompt. Click “Generate prompt”, enter your email to see the whole prompt and copy it.
Seven persuasive structures. The “Persuasive structure” field offers PAS (problem, agitation, solution), AIDA, before, after, bridge, benefit, proof, how it works, problem, consequence, solution, a short story and a comparison with criteria. Left on Auto, the AI picks the one that fits the buyer stage and tells you which it used.
Example: a ChatGPT copywriting prompt for a landing page
With the generator’s “Landing page” example, the prompt starts like this. It’s an excerpt: the button copies the full prompt.
ROLE Act as a senior direct response and content marketing copywriter with B2B and B2C experience. You write for one specific reader, with one promise per piece and verifiable proof, and you never fill gaps with invented figures, results or testimonials. You master conversion landing pages: above-the-fold message, social proof, objection handling and a single conversion goal. GOAL Write the full copy for a landing page with a single conversion goal. Build the argument with PAS: a problem the reader recognizes, agitation of its consequences without exaggerating, and the solution as the natural way out. CONTEXT Context provided by the user (treat it as your main source): [START OF BRIEF] Booking software for physiotherapy clinics that cuts missed appointments with automatic WhatsApp reminders sent 24 hours before. Price: $45 a month per clinic, no long-term contract. Internal data: clinics using it for six months went from 14% to 6% missed appointments (average across 120 clinics). We want visitors to book a 20-minute demo. [END OF BRIEF] ... OUTPUT FORMAT Deliver the landing page as labeled sections: 1) Hero (headline, subheadline, CTA and trust line); 2) Problem; 3) Benefits (3 to 5 blocks with a subhead, 40 words at most each); 4) How it works in 3 steps; 5) Proof; 6) FAQ (4 or 5); 7) Final CTA. Then three alternative headlines. ...
The full prompt adds the reader and their stage, how to use the internal data, constraints against invented figures and testimonials, six working steps, the CTA rule and a final check before answering.
The result: the assistant uses the missed-appointment figure with its base (120 clinics, six months) and marks any guarantee or testimonial you did not provide with [VERIFY].
Copywriting tips for high-converting copy: headline, USP and proof
6 quick tips
- Give a provable benefit. Write one measurable benefit in the brief. “Saves time” gets generic copy; “sends the reminder by WhatsApp 24 hours before” names a pain point and solves it.
- Set must-haves and no-gos. Use the “Required information, limits or phrases to avoid” field for must-haves and no-gos: pricing, brand phrases, words you never use, or promises you can’t back up.
- Try several angles. In “Versions and delivery”, choose “3 different angles” when you’re unsure of the angle, pick one, then refine it. It’s faster than fixing a single draft that misses.
- Lead with your USP. Put your unique selling proposition, the selling points and the product features behind them in the brief, so the opening line leads with something only you can say.
- Attach a reference. Keep a swipe file of ads and emails you like, choose “Copy that worked” as the material and attach one; it shows the model the rhythm you want without copying it.
- Read it out loud. Read the result out loud. If you wouldn’t say a line to a customer, rewrite it or ask for a plainer version.
Use cases: AI copywriting for sales copy, subject lines and a call-to-action that converts
- Landing pages A page in labeled sections: hero, benefits, proof, FAQ and one clear next step.
- Email copy Nurture emails, a newsletter for each subscriber segment, or a sales email whose subject line matches the body.
- Ad copy Three paid social ad variants with different angles for A/B testing, and Google Ads headlines with character counts.
- Launches A product launch email or a limited-time offer that doesn’t fake urgency.
- Social A LinkedIn post or a short video script with a hook.
- Ecommerce Product pages that turn specs into benefits for your product or service.
- Blog Sections with a title, meta description and H2s that read naturally.
What a copywriter puts in a good copywriting prompt: reader, proof and brand voice
A good prompt gives the model what you’d give a copywriter joining your team: a role, the specific piece, the target audience and their stage, the proof it can use, the limits and the format. Without the reader or the proof, you get empty filler that doesn’t resonate with your audience. AI-generated copy improves when you state the value proposition in one sentence.
Persuasion comes from specifics, and creative constraints (a word limit, one benefit, no superlatives) push the model to find them. Typing “write a sales email” is a start; saying who reads it, what they doubt and what you can prove is what makes the copy convert. The form asks for each piece in order and adds controls so nothing invents testimonials or results.
Practice copywriting: use the tool as an exercise
If you want to learn copywriting or build your copywriting skills, treat the tool as an exercise: write your own version first, then compare it with what the assistant writes from the same brief. Change one field, such as the reader or the structure, and note how the copy shifts. It also works for brainstorming: generate three openings and keep the one that resonates with your audience.
A copywriter or business owner staring at a blank page gets a first draft, and keeps the judgment that turns it into copy that fits the brand. Tailor each new brief with what you learned, and these writing prompts become a way to improve your copywriting and master a copywriter’s habits, not just a copywriting tool.

Why I built these generators
Frequently asked questions
Is the copywriting prompt generator free?
Yes, it’s free. Before it asks for anything, it shows you a preview with the first sections of the prompt. To see the whole prompt and copy it, enter your email and accept the Privacy Policy; receiving communications from Founderz is optional.
It only asks once per visit: any prompts you generate after that are shown in full.
Which AI is best for copywriting?
The one your company lets you use with its data. The prompt is plain text, so it works in ChatGPT, Claude, Google Gemini or Microsoft Copilot, and in writing tools such as Jasper or Writesonic that accept instructions.
How do I avoid generic AI ad copy?
Personalize the brief: give a specific reader, one concrete benefit and real proof, and pick the proof you have under “Proof available”. Asking for “3 different angles” and choosing one also cuts the repetitive phrasing you get from a single request.
What happens to the data I type in?
Nothing runs on a model here: your answers are combined with instructions written by Founderz, in your browser. Only your email goes to Founderz when you ask to view the result, and usage statistics record the options you choose, never your brief or the prompt.
Can I get the copy in another language?
Yes. The “Response language” field, in the advanced settings of the last step, asks the AI to write in that language and adapt expressions instead of translating. It covers US and UK English, Spanish from Spain, Mexican and neutral Latin American Spanish, Brazilian and European Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Catalan and Dutch, plus a bilingual Spanish and English option.
Certificate Program in Artificial Intelligence and Innovation
