Founderz and Microsoft Launch Free AI Training for Vocational Students in Aragón

Founderz has teamed up with Microsoft and the Government of Aragón to launch a free artificial intelligence training program for the more than 27,600 vocational training students enrolled in public institutions across the region.

The course focuses on two areas: responsible artificial intelligence, which introduces students to what the technology is, how it works, and what it means to use it ethically and responsibly; and prompt engineering, the discipline of giving precise instructions to tools like ChatGPT or Copilot to get useful, task-specific results.

An Initiative to Close the Region’s Tech Skills Gap Among Young People

Spain ranks fourth in Europe in AI adoption among businesses, but falls to fourteenth in the availability of trained professionals in that technology. The gap between those two figures captures the problem precisely: organizations are integrating AI into their processes, but the labor market isn’t producing the talent needed to work with it.

Vocational training holds a strategic place in that picture. Its students are the ones who enter the workforce earliest and who fill the roles where AI is having its most immediate impact: administrative management, manufacturing, logistics, healthcare services, and retail. Training them now is, therefore, a sound investment in their future.

Founderz’s Role in AI Training in Spain

Founderz is a business school specialized in artificial intelligence and a Microsoft Worldwide Training Partner, one of the few companies in Spain to hold that status. That means we develop our training in direct collaboration with Microsoft, with access to its technology and certifications that carry the company’s official backing.

This isn’t the first initiative of its kind. Founderz previously launched a similar program with Microsoft and the Community of Madrid, reaching more than 100,000 young people between the ages of 16 and 26, with over 7,000 sign-ups in the first few weeks. The Aragón program follows that same model, extending the reach of an approach that has already proven its worth.

Course Content and Structure

The program starts from a simple premise: you need to understand artificial intelligence before you use it. That’s why the first module focuses on the fundamentals rather than the tools: what a language model is, how it generates responses, why it gets things wrong, and what responsibility comes with trusting its output.

The second module puts that knowledge into practice through prompt engineering. Learning to write precise instructions for tools like ChatGPT or Copilot is no small skill, since it largely determines the quality of the results you get. The course works through this discipline with concrete use cases, including building real projects and automated workflows without writing any code.

The program is flexible and fully online, and takes between 4 and 6 hours to complete. Students who finish it earn an official Microsoft and Founderz credential they can add to their LinkedIn profile.

Free AI Course for Vocational Students in Aragón: How to Enroll

The course is available on our website for all students enrolled in vocational training programs at publicly funded institutions in Aragón, regardless of specialty. Enrollment is completely free, and access to the course content is immediate once registration is complete.

We’ve spent years building the infrastructure so that no one gets left out of the digital transformation. This agreement with the Government of Aragón and Microsoft is the next step in that journey.
