Workshop Recap: Master AI in the Workplace and Increase Your Job Market Value

Artificial intelligence is reshaping the way we work and do business, and it’s changing faster than ever. Our event, “Master AI in the Workplace: Increase Your Job Market Value,” held on February 28, was a genuine opportunity for professionals ready to lead the digital transformation in their own fields.

This session featured Magda Teruel Llorente, Copilot Partner Solutions Architect at Microsoft; Gianluca Rosania, Top HR Influencer Spain and LinkedIn Top Voice; and Pau Garcia-Milà, co-CEO and co-founder of Founderz.

Strategies From Industry AI Experts

The session opened with an introduction from Pau Garcia-Milà, who stressed the importance of adapting and evolving in an era defined by sweeping change driven by AI.

Next, Magda Teruel spoke about how AI is completely changing the way we work. Her talk focused on adapting and optimizing processes with AI tools, and she stressed the importance of ongoing training to stay relevant in the job market.

She emphasized the importance of understanding AI not as a threat but as an opportunity that’s within everyone’s reach to improve and automate processes. Magda encouraged attendees to set a clear goal, know their starting point, and map out a measurable path toward that goal.

She also pointed out how AI is creating real opportunities for people to strengthen their professional profile, comparing the shift to this technology with learning to use tools like the calculator in the past. That comparison underscores a simple point: adapting and learning continuously are what let professionals get the most out of AI in their careers.

She also shared practical examples of how Copilot can help with everyday tasks such as summarizing videos, analyzing documents, and streamlining email communication. She highlighted its value for checking information sources and improving the quality of work, tailoring content to each user’s specific needs.

She noted how Copilot, built into familiar applications like Teams and PowerPoint, makes it easier to handle a range of tasks, from preparing presentations to managing email, offering suggestions that improve communication and efficiency.

Optimizing Processes With AI

Next, Gianluca Rosania covered the practical use of AI in optimizing everyday processes. He shared concrete examples of how AI-based tools can improve efficiency in the job search, personalize applications, and help candidates stand out in a highly competitive market.

During his talk, he pointed out that any industry can benefit from applying AI. Gianluca also presented practical, accessible tools for using AI to prepare for job interviews.

He showed how ChatGPT can be used to run mock interviews, tailoring questions to the specific role a candidate is targeting.

He also introduced Clay, a tool that combines several functions in one, covering everything from finding job opportunities on LinkedIn to identifying key contacts at target companies for outreach.

Gianluca demonstrated how, in just a few clicks, you can automate tasks that would traditionally take hours of manual work, including job searching, interview preparation, and tailoring applications.

What’s New in the 2024 Master’s in AI and Innovation

To close the event, Pau invited attendees to the launch event for the 2024 edition of the Master’s in AI and Innovation, taking place on March 4 at Microsoft Ibérica’s headquarters in Madrid.

Following the strong response to its launch the year before, this new edition includes updates that prepare professionals to lead in the digital age, with a dual certification that strengthens students’ professional profiles.
