On January 31, we had the chance to hold our first online workshop, AI from 0 to 100: Build Your Own ChatGPT and Master the Future.
In this session, featuring Juan Echeverria, founder of Ecuademy and instructor on our Master’s in AI, and Pau Garcia-Milà, co-CEO and co-founder of Founderz, attendees discovered everything AI has to offer and learned how to build custom GPTs.
A 100% Hands-On Workshop to Discover the Power of AI
First, Juan Echeverría introduced ChatGPT and its features, talking about what a breakthrough it has been to create custom GPTs and how useful this is in practice. He also introduced the GPT Store and the many options it offers.
He then went into detail on the basic setup of a GPT, showing step by step how to start building a custom one that fits our daily needs and behaves the way we want it to. He also showed attendees how to upload documents to their GPT so that, as Juan put it, they could “give it access to our knowledge base”:
Next, he covered the various tools a GPT offers, such as web browsing, DALL-E, and code interpretation. Here, Juan showed how these tools could be applied to a real-world case: a hotel assistant, which helped attendees gain a deeper understanding of how they work and where they can be applied.
Next, we saw how to connect a GPT with other applications like Microsoft Power Automate, and Juan shared practical tips on how to effectively integrate a GPT into a daily workflow. This included a demonstration of how to automate tasks, even setting things up so the information the GPT generates arrives straight in our inbox.
As Juan explained during the workshop, “through a simple conversation, we are setting up the GPT we’re going to talk to afterward,” without using code, just by “training it” to do what we need.
Finally, the workshop wrapped up with a Q&A session on GPTs, answering questions from the more than 1,800 attendees who joined us live.
Introducing the 2024 Edition of Our Master’s in AI and Innovation
Before wrapping up the session, Pau Garcia-Milà had the chance to introduce the 2024 edition of our Online Master’s in AI and Innovation, run in collaboration with Microsoft.
This program, currently the largest of its kind in Europe, now includes new additions such as a module on Copilot and updated prompt engineering classes covering the latest versions of ChatGPT-4 and DALL·E 3.
The program also brings together more than 20 AI expert instructors from around the world, including professionals from the Microsoft team. Our unique methodology, which combines video lessons with live events and interaction with an international community of 9,000 students, delivers an educational experience that reflects what today’s job market actually needs.
