- Irresponsible use of AI already affects roughly 1% of scientific papers, and its fingerprints have shown up in court rulings and art competitions too.
- Founderz, in collaboration with Microsoft, is launching the first program focused on training and certifying companies and professionals in the responsible use and adoption of AI.
Madrid, May 15, 2024. Over the past 12 months, artificial intelligence has worked its way into the daily operations of millions of organizations and businesses. According to recent analysis, more than 60,000 scientific papers have already been published showing clear signs of AI generation. Traces of AI tools have even turned up in court rulings.
In many of these cases, though, the problem was not AI itself but how it was used: without responsibility, falling into what is known as overreliance, or blind trust in AI, where a person accepts an AI-generated result as valid without reading it or applying even a basic layer of human judgment.
A study from MIT found that when AI is used correctly, productivity jumps by 40%. Just as importantly, the average quality of work that blends AI with human input rises to 4.5 out of 7, compared with 3.8 out of 7 for work done without AI tools.
This has pushed companies to look for ways to guarantee that these tools are used correctly, legally, and ethically within their organizations, giving rise to a term that until two years ago was reserved for the toolmakers themselves: Responsible AI, or “RAI”.
That is why Founderz Business School, Microsoft’s global education partner, working together with Microsoft, has today introduced the first training program and certification built specifically to prepare companies and independent professionals for the responsible adoption of artificial intelligence in their organizations.
The program, available internationally with instructors from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Spain, among other countries, runs for two months entirely online. It covers everything from ethical principles to the practical application of advanced technologies, preparing future leaders to make informed, ethical decisions in the fast-growing field of AI and ensuring the technology is developed and applied in ways that benefit everyone.
Upon completion, participants receive a certification in leading and implementing responsible AI policy within their organization.
“We believe that in the near future, many companies will proudly display their RAI credentials, much like they display environmental certifications or workplace excellence seals today. In fact, being able to say in 2024 that our organization promotes responsible AI use is a real win, both for the company and for its employees,” say Pau Garcia-Milà and Anna Cejudo, co-CEOs of Founderz.
The training program opened for pre-registration today and will begin running online with monthly intakes.
