AI prompt generator for entrepreneurs
Tell us about your idea or business and get a professional prompt to validate the problem, prepare interviews, prioritize the MVP, set prices or prepare your pitch. Only step 1 is required: everything else stays on Auto.
How to use the AI prompt generator for entrepreneurs to start a new business
Follow these steps to build your prompt. Only the first one is required: anything you skip stays on Auto.
- Start with the essentials. Pick an example (validate problem, prepare interviews, value proposition, prioritize MVP, prepare pitch or initial pricing) or write your idea, your customer and what you have already checked. Then choose what you want to move forward, or leave it on Auto so the generator works it out from your text.
- Describe your business. The stage (from early idea to early growth or rethinking) and the type of business (B2C, B2B SaaS, marketplace, professional service, ecommerce, physical product, social impact or local business). Under advanced settings you set the priority customer and your scarcest resource.
- Add your evidence and goal. What you have already checked (nothing yet, interviews, sales or pre-orders, usage data, reports) and your goal right now: learn fast, win first customers, raise funding or decide whether to continue. Under advanced settings you flag regulated topics.
- Choose format and quality. Who the output is for (just you, partners, investors, potential customers or a mentor) and the format. Under advanced settings you will find the level of detail, the material you will attach, extra checks and the response language.
- Generate and copy your prompt. Click “Generate prompt”, enter your email to see the whole prompt and copy it.
Eleven jobs founders face. The “What do you want to move forward?” selector covers validating the problem, preparing customer interviews, the value proposition, prioritizing the MVP, initial pricing, market and competition, designing an experiment, preparing the pitch, a launch plan, a metrics system and a Lean Canvas.
The “Type of business” field adapts the risks and vocabulary of the answer to your model.
Example: ChatGPT prompts to test a business idea with interviews
With the generator’s “Validate problem” example, the prompt starts like this. It’s an excerpt: the button copies the full prompt.
ROLE Act as a startup mentor and experienced founder. You know Lean Startup, Customer Development, The Mom Test, the Value Proposition Canvas, the Lean Canvas and AARRR metrics. You work from evidence: you separate facts, hypotheses and opinions and you never fill gaps with invented data. You apply Customer Development: validate the problem first and the solution second. GOAL Assess whether the problem in the context is real, frequent and painful enough for someone to pay to solve it, and define how to test it. CONTEXT Context provided by the user (treat it as your main source): """ I want to build a tool that helps physiotherapy clinics manage waiting lists and fill gaps left by cancellations. I have talked to seven physiotherapists who own their clinic: five told me they fill gaps by phoning patients one by one, and two already use scheduling software that does not solve it. I have not built anything yet. """ ... OUTPUT FORMAT Deliver: 1) the problem hypothesis; 2) an evidence table with the columns Evidence, Level (behavior, statement or assumption), Source, What it proves and what it does not; 3) a current alternatives table; 4) proposed tests with the columns Test, Success signal, Cost, Duration; 5) the provisional verdict. ...
The full prompt adds the constraints (no invented market figures, and a source for every figure), five steps to grade the evidence and design cheap tests, an evidence table with its level and a final check before answering.
The result: the AI treats the five conversations as statements to test with a cheap experiment, not as proof that the market exists, which helps you validate assumptions before you spend money.
Tips to get the best results from AI-powered assistants
6 quick tips
- Separate facts from guesses. Put what you’ve already checked in the brief (interviews, sales, usage data) and say what is still a guess: the prompt tells the AI not to invent market size, traction or metrics.
- Name your limit. Use “Scarcest resource” to say whether you’re short on time, budget, access to customers or technical capacity, so the plan fits what you have.
- Check every source. If you use AI tools for market research, open every source before a figure goes into your plan, and turn on “Cite sources” under extra checks.
- Match the detail to the job. Use the Brief level for a quick interview guide and save Thorough for pricing, a pitch or an investment decision.
- Change one field at a time. Generate a new version after each change, then compare versions to see which setting gives you more clarity.
- Protect your data. Leave customer personal data and confidential partner numbers out of the brief: use ranges and roles instead.
Use cases for every entrepreneur: brainstorm, business plan, market research and financing
- Early idea Brainstorm the problem, validate it and prepare an interview guide for the person who has the problem or the person who pays.
- Value proposition Sort benefits, alternatives and objections for your priority customer, and write a positioning statement before you commit.
- Pre-MVP Decide what goes into the minimum viable product and design an experiment with a clear learning signal.
- First customers A launch plan, a first pricing proposal or a metrics system for customer acquisition, so you know what works.
- Financing A pitch with the hard questions an investor will ask, without made-up numbers.
For tasks outside the list, such as a business name, brand copy, a campaign, marketing strategies or LinkedIn posts, describe them in the brief and leave the task on Auto: the AI works out the most useful deliverable and tells you which one it chose. The more context you give, the more powerful AI answers get.
What makes a good AI prompt for an entrepreneur
A good prompt gives the AI what you’d give a mentor: a role, a specific task, the background of your online business or local project, the input it can use, the limits (what it must not invent) and the output format. Leave any of the six out and the AI fills the gap with assumptions, so you get a generic answer. The generator asks for each piece in order, so you’re not staring at a blank page, and it flags what you need to check before you decide.

Why I built these generators
Frequently asked questions
Is this a free AI prompt generator?
Yes, it’s free. Before it asks for anything, it shows you a preview with the first sections of the prompt. To see the whole prompt and copy it, enter your email and accept the Privacy Policy; receiving communications from Founderz is optional.
It only asks once per visit: any prompts you generate after that are shown in full.
Which AI tool can I use it in?
Any text assistant, including popular AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Microsoft Copilot. The prompt is portable: it does not depend on features of one specific tool.
Can I get the prompt in Spanish or another language?
Yes. The “Response language” field, under the advanced settings of the last step, sets the language the AI answers in. It covers US, UK, Canadian and Australian English, Spanish from Spain and Latin America, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian and Dutch, plus a bilingual English and Spanish option.
What happens to the details I type?
The generator doesn’t use a language model: it combines your answers with Founderz templates in your browser. It only sends your email to Founderz when you ask to see the prompt, and usage statistics record configuration choices, never your brief or the generated prompt.
Can AI test my business idea for me?
No. The prompt helps you organize hypotheses, interviews and experiments, and it tells the AI not to invent traction or give definitive financial, tax or legal advice. The real insight comes from talking to customers and measuring what they do: payments, pre-orders or repeat use.
