We Train Over 200,000 Young People in Spain in AI With Fundación Princesa de Girona and Microsoft

According to the World Economic Forum, artificial intelligence will create 170 million jobs worldwide within five years. Yet access to AI training remains limited for many young people. To help close that gap, Founderz has joined the Fundación Princesa de Girona (FPdGi) and Microsoft España to launch Preparados, Listos, ¡IA! ("Ready, Set, AI!"), a free online AI and prompt engineering program that will train 200,000 young people in Spain throughout 2025.

The program was unveiled at the Tour del Talento 2025, held in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, and is backed by the Generalitat de Cataluña and endorsed by the Institut Obert de Catalunya (IOC). Its goal is to offer accessible, practical artificial intelligence training with a responsible, future-focused approach.

What Does Preparados, Listos, ¡IA! Offer?

Preparados, Listos, ¡IA! is a 10-hour course designed to introduce young people to artificial intelligence, from the theoretical fundamentals to the most practical applications. The content is available in Catalan and Spanish, so more people can access the training without language barriers.

The course opens with an introduction to AI and continues through a structured learning path built around short training modules. Participants will cover the basics of artificial intelligence, how generative models work, and how to write prompts to get the most out of them. It also examines the social and ethical impact of this technology, promoting responsible use.

To reinforce learning, the methodology combines videos, supporting materials, and live interactive sessions. Participants will have access to mentors and an online community where they can share questions and ideas. As part of the program, they must complete a hands-on challenge that combines creativity, technology, and social responsibility. On completion, they will receive a Microsoft Success Badge certifying their AI skills.

The course will be available starting February 2025 on the website of the Fundación Princesa de Girona. Enrollment is free, and young people can complete it at their own pace.

A Partnership to Bring AI to Young People

This project is possible thanks to the partnership between Microsoft España, the Fundación Princesa de Girona, and Founderz, three organizations with a firm commitment to education and technology. Microsoft contributes its expertise in artificial intelligence and provides access to key tools. The Fundación Princesa de Girona supports young people’s professional development and backs initiatives that improve their career prospects. Founderz designs innovative learning experiences that make it possible to build skills in a flexible, effective way.

The shared goal is to make artificial intelligence training more accessible, so that more people can gain skills that will be essential in the years ahead.

Founderz’s Commitment to AI Education

At Founderz, we believe education should be accessible and grounded in the real world. Since 2020, we have worked to deliver quality online training, moving away from traditional teaching models. Our methodology is built on collaboration and the practical application of knowledge.

Together with Microsoft, we launched the Máster Online de IA e Innovación (Online Master’s in AI and Innovation), which quickly became the largest artificial intelligence program in Europe. Now, with Preparados, Listos, ¡IA!, we are taking another step to help thousands of young people learn to master this technology.
