Introducing Our AI Programs in Cybersecurity and LegalTech in Collaboration with KPMG and Microsoft

On January 27, Madrid’s Torre de Cristal became the epicenter of business innovation with the event “Future Challenges, Present Solutions: The Impact of AI on Cybersecurity and LegalTech.” Organized by KPMG and Founderz, the gathering marked the launch of two training programs designed to prepare companies for today’s technology challenges.

According to data shared at the event, 91.8% of Spanish companies suffered cyberattacks in 2024, and 90% of those incidents were caused by human error. This underscores the need to train teams to minimize risk and maintain security in an increasingly complex digital environment.

Two Programs to Lead in Innovation and Security

During the event, Founderz presented two programs: Cybersecurity in the Age of AI and AI for Legal Teams, which combine a hands-on approach with the flexibility of online learning.

Cybersecurity in the Age of AI

This program trains both technical and non-technical teams to prevent and respond to advanced threats such as ransomware, spear phishing, and deepfakes. It also covers cyber hygiene practices and regulatory compliance with directives such as NIS2 and DORA.

Pablo Bernard, Partner responsible for Markets and Consulting Corporates at KPMG, said: “This alliance with Founderz and Microsoft allows us to close the existing gap in cybersecurity training and awareness at many organizations, while bringing together artificial intelligence capabilities applied to cybersecurity.”

AI for Legal Teams

Focused on the legal sector, this program trains participants to use generative AI tools to streamline legal processes, automate repetitive tasks, and build custom chatbots.

Pau García-Milà, co-founder and co-CEO of Founderz, said: “Through this collaboration with KPMG and Microsoft, we’re taking a step forward to address one of the biggest challenges companies face today: cybersecurity. With this program, our goal is not only to educate, but also to make organizations more competitive.”

Both programs are 100% online and include joint certification from KPMG, Founderz, and Microsoft. They also qualify for FUNDAE funding, giving Spanish companies full flexibility in training their teams.

A Space to Discuss the Future

Beyond launching these two programs, the event also served as a forum to discuss the main business challenges companies face in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence. Featured topics included the implications of regulations such as NIS2 and DORA, as well as real-world use cases presented by leaders from companies including Repsol and Miravia.

Miguel López-Valverde, Minister of Digitalization for the Community of Madrid, emphasized during his remarks: “The strong response to this new training offering reflects how important these initiatives are for our companies.”

Paco Salcedo, President of Microsoft Spain, added: “We live in fascinating times, when technology is our greatest ally. However, this moment calls for avoiding isolation and staying alert. That’s why it’s essential to align strategies to minimize security risks.”
