Artificial Intelligence is changing the way we work and creating new professional opportunities. For young people to make the most of this shift, they need access to training in this technology. At Founderz, together with Microsoft and the Xunta de Galicia, we believe in education that is accessible and practical. That’s why we’re training 45,000 young people from Galicia in AI through a free training program designed to give them the skills the job market demands.
Accessible Training to Improve Employability for Young People in Galicia
The goal of this initiative is to bring AI closer to young jobseekers in Galicia, giving them the tools they need to understand and apply this technology in their professional development.
The program will cover essential areas such as:
- AI fundamentals: key concepts for understanding how AI works and where it’s applied.
- Prompting and using AI through code: techniques for working with AI models and getting the most out of them.
- Ethical and responsible AI: a core focus for ensuring this technology is used appropriately.
At Founderz, we design content that combines theory and practice, so students build a solid theoretical foundation in Artificial Intelligence while also learning to apply it in real work settings.
Our Commitment to Quality Education for Everyone
Our commitment to training young people in Spain isn’t new: as a leader in digital education and training in emerging technologies, Founderz has built reference programs in Artificial Intelligence, training thousands of students across Spain.
We’ve already partnered with the Community of Madrid and Microsoft to create the Free Responsible AI and Prompt Engineering Course, a program aimed at helping more than 100,000 young people between the ages of 16 and 26 master Artificial Intelligence. At the European level, we’re also training people from more than 10 countries together with Microsoft through the AI Skills 4 All initiative.
“We’re at a pivotal moment where Artificial Intelligence is transforming the labor market, while also changing the way we learn and work. Our goal is to give young people the tools they need to use this technology responsibly and turn it into an opportunity for their professional growth,” says Pau García-Milà, CEO and founder of Founderz.
Artificial Intelligence: The Future of Employment in Galicia
The Responsible Artificial Intelligence program is just the first step in a broader initiative to establish Galicia as a hub for AI innovation.
This program will also serve as the backbone of a broader strategy that includes forums, workshops, conferences, and seminars, where experts will share their knowledge on the responsible use of this technology.
This initiative will also encourage collaboration and the exchange of experience, putting in place ways to measure the impact of the training and make sure resources are used efficiently. Through this effort, we want to prepare young people for the future of work, and also help position Galicia as a leading region in AI development and adoption.
